Edit your About section on The Org

Before you begin

You must have a valid The Org login, and be a member of your company on The Org to manage and update the About section! If you want to learn more about becoming a member of your company and the benefits of a public org chart, find more information here.


Get started on the About section

Step 1 - - Go to your Company Dashboard

Step 2 - - Select the About section on the dashboard

Step 3 - - Under the General tab, you can update the following things: Company logo, Organization name, Organization description, Website URL, Industry, Employee range and other Social links.


Update your Company logo

Step 1 - - Click Edit logo to open the edit logo modal

Step 2 - - To upload a new photo, click Upload logo

Step 3 - - Choose the file you want to upload and then click Open

Step 4 - - When the logo is uploaded and cropped as you prefer, click Save logo

Please note, the logo will not be uploaded to your public company page before saving all unsaved changes across the about section. All your changes will be saved by clicking ‘save’ in the right hand corner.


To update the Organization name, Organization description, Website URL, Industry, Employee range, and other Social links

Step 1 - - Update all the fields from the general tab

Please note, your changes will not be saved to your public company page before clicking Save on the unsaved changes warning in the right-hand corner. You only have to click save once, meaning that you can make all the changes across the different tabs on the about page before saving at the end.


Add Office location

Step 1 - - Go to the Office tab on the about page

Step 2 - - To add a new office location click Add office to organization

Step 3 - - Type your office location in the address field and pick the right location from the list

Step 4 - - Click Save office


Edit or Remove a Current Office Location

Step 1 - - If you want to update or edit one of your existing office locations, click the pen icon next to the office location

Step 2 - - Type the updated office location in the address field and pick the location from the list. Finish the update by click Save office

Step 3 - - To remove an existing office location, click the X icon next to the office location. Confirm the update by clicking Delete


Photos

Sharing photos from your office and social events is a great way of showing off your culture to give candidates a sneak peek into what daily life at your company will look like.

To manage your company photos:

Step 1 - - Go to the Photos tab on the about page

Step 2 - - Upload new photos to your public company page by clicking Choose file or drag the photo you want to upload to the area

Step 3 - - To remove an existing photo, click on the pen icon in the corner of the photo and select Delete photo

Step 4 - - To change the order in which photos are shown on your public company page, click on the pen icon in the corner of a photo and choose Reorder


Values

Sharing your company values is a great way to show future candidates what company values you have and embody, which will help attract the right talent whose values align with your own.

To manage your company values:

Step 1 - - Go to the Values tab

Step 2 - - Add a new value to your company page by clicking Add value in the bottom of the Values tab

  • Add the name of the value

  • Add a description of the value to share what this value means to your company and why it is so important.

  • Click Save value

Step 3 - - To change an existing value, click the pen icon in the upper right corner of the value you want to change. Make the desired changes in the fields and click Save value

Step 4 - - If you want to remove an existing value, click the X icon in the upper right corner of the value. Confirm by clicking Delete
